This is our 2011 wetland restoration group for the summer of 2011.
Our objectives for this summer was to increase the native vegetation by digging up and planting sedges, and spruce trees to help cover a lot of the bare ground that didn't get covered in last years wetland restoration group. Also we plotting the wetland to see how much the vegetation had grown from the past year, what the percentage of the bare ground, wet ground and vegetated ground. And our last objective this year was to eradicate the non-native invasive species such as Scotch-broom, Tansy ragwort and blackberries.
